Cherie Parrish

Executive Assistant

Cherie is a former prosecuting attorney. She spent four years prosecuting cases in the Commonwealth of Virginia including gang crimes, drug crimes and violent crimes. These cases carried significant prison terms. She graduated from Liberty Law School in 2010 and immediately began an internship at the Virginia Court of Appeals where she reviewed incoming cases. From the Court of Appeals she moved to the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and continued her career until transitioning into private practice.

She successfully transitioned into private practice and worked as a partner in a law firm for three years. She has extensive experience in legal writing and research and unique insights into appellate review.

She surrendered her license when she became entangled in a wire fraud case involving two clients from the firm. Having gone through the Federal indictment process personally she has the inside information and the direct knowledge of how the system works and how best to navigate the complex issues associated with surrender and post conviction needs. Since beginning work on post conviction services, Cherie has assisted in helping clients with custody matters, 2241 matters as well as compassionate release motions. She provides compassionate consulting and effective advocacy through the indictment process through sentencing and post conviction.
